2. Shine (Best Self Care App)

Shine starts your day off with a motivational message, that immediately boosts your mood. But that’s just the beginning. From “Shine Talks” that can help you overcome any situation, text message like check-ins to ground you and log what you’re grateful for, 100s of guided meditations and Shine Challenges that are like little subscriptions to topics that you want to work on. A beautiful and inviting interface makes adding Shine to your daily routine a breeze!

3. Youper

Youper App

This one is a GEM for mental health! Youper is your new favorite emotional health assistant. Through quick conversations, this app helps you monitor and improve your emotional health. Youper dives deep into your psyche with daily check-ins and conversations that open up your mind. But my favorite part is the health tab! Once in it, you will be prompted with the emotional health checkup.

For those who have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, attention deficit, borderline personality, obsessive-compulsive, bipolar and more, they all have the chance to track their condition with weekly check-ins. It’s absolutely the best when you’re trying to not only understand your condition but actively overcome it. Highly recommend.

4. Headspace

Headspace is one of the leading meditation apps out there. They offer regular guided meditations, out of the box animations on “How Not To Be A jerk” and 10-20 minute courses on topics like mindful eating and managing anxiety. Keep track of your sessions and mindful minutes with the stats tab, or look at your overall journey in a glance.

“Everyday is a chance to train your mind for a happier, healthier life.”

Enjoy hundreds of meditations and exercises to relax your mind from anywhere and perform at your best. Did we mention they have meditations for kids? Yep, shut those kiddies up (joking, seriously) with a blast of mindfulness, and set them on the course to success.

6. Fabulous (University Made Self Care App)

Fabulous App

Lastly, we have Fabulous. Created at the Center For Advanced Hindsight at Duke University, this little app is quite special. Starting with its super cute startup and affirming little sounds, it’s quite the personality packed app. First things first you answer questions about which things you would like to do more (or less) of including exercise, better sleep, meditation, and focus.

Once you answer the questions, Fabulous tells you how long it’s going to take to build this routine. It’s amazing, it then gives you daily tasks to do like ” Drink Water” for the next 3 days to build good habits and a ritual for success.
